Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar Games confirmed the date on its official Newswire, and both consoles get the game on the same day with no timed exclusivity.

Confirmed
The November 19, 2026 date and the PS5 / Xbox Series X|S platforms are confirmed directly by Rockstar Games on its official Newswire.

How we got to November 2026

The date has moved twice. GTA VI was first announced for a broad 2025 window, then dated for May 26, 2026, and finally moved to November 19, 2026. Rockstar attributed the shifts to giving the game additional polish.

Preorders and editions

Preorders went live on June 25, 2026. Rockstar is offering two editions at launch, and everyone who preorders before November 20, 2026 receives the Vintage Vice City Pack.

GTA VI launch editions (USD, as confirmed by Rockstar)

Ultimate Edition$99.99Base game plus bonus content

What about PC?

As of now, Rockstar has only confirmed PS5 and Xbox Series X|S for the November 19, 2026 launch. A PC version has not been dated.

Unconfirmed
A PC release is widely expected but unconfirmed. Rockstar released GTA V on PC roughly 18 months after its console debut; any PC date for GTA VI is speculation until Rockstar says otherwise. We label PC timing as unknown, not “confirmed for 2027.”
