Rockstar released the second trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI in May 2025. It drew over 475 million views across platforms in its first 24 hours, which Rockstar described as the biggest video launch of all time.
What Trailer 2 added
The second trailer leaned into the relationship between Jason and Lucia and gave a fuller look at Vice City and the wider state of Leonida. It landed alongside Rockstar’s May 2025 update, which introduced much of the supporting cast — mogul Boobie Ike, music manager Dre’Quan Priest and the Real Dimez, Keys runner Brian Heder, and bank robber Raul Bautista.
